Thoughts & Feelings: I first found Tricia O’Malley in late 2020 when Alex Franzen posted the Mystic Cove series in her “good things” email. After reading all the available Mystic Cove books, I immediately got pulled into O’Malley’s Althea Rose series.
There are eight books, plus two novellas (book 2.5 and book 3.5 if you like to read in order), in this series, and you will devour them all. They’re all fun, a bit mysterious, lighthearted, and truly enjoyable. O’Malley does such a great job of pulling you into the world of Tequila Key that I didn’t want to leave at the end of the last book, Eight Ways to Tequila. But, like all great vacations, these stories must wrap up, and O’Malley delivered a perfectly wrapped ending.
