2022 Reading Challenge - Best Books of February

February 2022 has been… unusual. I typically find myself cozied up inside reading and watching hockey games this time of year. This month has been productively busy, so I haven’t made much time to read. What I have been reading, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

Best Books of February

Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management For Mortals by Oliver Burkeman

I loved Burkeman’s philosophy on time management in Four Thousand Weeks. Instead of “hacking” your way into getting more and more and more stuff done, actively say no to things, even if you genuinely want to do them. There’s only so much time in life – why waste it on unimportant things?

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

TJ Klune wrote a beautiful novel with The House in the Cerulean Sea. The themes in this book apply to our lives despite the magical world Klune created. The House in the Cerulean Sea warms the heart and is very family-friendly.

The City of Brass & The Kingdom of Copper by S.A. Chakraborty

Chakraborty did a phenomenal job creating a world, characters, and cultures for The Daevabad Trilogy. I love the way she writes and the imagery created. Chakraborty’s books are a must-read for anyone who enjoys speculative fiction full of Middle Eastern mythologies, magic, love, and politics.

Gallant by V.E. Schwab and Wild Irish Renegade by Tricia O’Malley are on the top of my TBR pile in March, along with more fiction and fantasy! Happy Reading!
