Likes: Foul Lady Fortune felt like a much faster read than These Violent Delights and Our Violent Ends. I really enjoyed the political element of Nationalists/Communists/Imperialists all vying for control of Shanghai - and how you see this through the eyes of Shanghai citizens. It was a great historical fiction read with a twist of fantasy thrown in.
