Story Synopsis: Victor Frankenstein labored for years to create a man from grave-robbed parts. When his creation got into the world, he became truly human, learning and growing along the way.
When Frankenstein’s creation met Frankenstein, you learn both sides of the story in this classic tale of horror, revenge, and love.
Why does this book beguile? C’mon. You know Frankenstein. We all know this story in some flavor, however, I haven’t read the book since high school. I was super excited to read it as an adult and reform my opinion on it.
I loved it.
Shelley is, obviously, an incredible writer. The reader is left with lingering questions about what separates man from monster and how our choices - even the smallest among them - have potentially massive consequences. I truly enjoyed reading this classic and understand why it stands the test of time.
