Story Synopsis: We meet Bryce Quinlan, a post-college party girl living with her best friend, Danika, in Crescent City (aka Lunathion). When Bryce is out on the town one night, she meets unspeakable tragedy. Two years later, this night resurfaces and the Archangel Governor, Micah, assigns angelic slave Hunt Athalar to watch Bryce’s movements to help solve the mystery of that night. Neither Bryce nor Hunt predict the truth they will uncover and the nasty web the angels have woven to retain power and keep the other citizens under their thumbs.
Likes: LOVED this book. This is everything I want in a book: romance, fantasy, character development, mystery, action, and more. Crescent City is a world with animal shifters, Fae, angels, sprites, witches, merfolk, vampires, humans, and more. The writing keeps you turning the page, and I immediately bought the second book. Loved it!
Comments: There are some spicy adult scenes, so may not be YA-appropriate.
Rating: 10/10 no notes
