Favorite Quote: People who wear uniforms for a living are forgettable and largely anonymous, two qualities essential in our work. And they are underestimated. Use that to your advantage.
Story Synopsis: After an attempt at retiring, our four assassins are called into service for an off-the-books hit once they are targeted. As the women take out their target, something feels off for Billie. She realizes the dead man isn’t the one calling the shots and a global chase ensues to determine who is the hunter and who is the prey.
Why does this book beguile? Such a fun novel! I devoured the first novel, Killers of a Certain Age, and this was just as fun. Kills Well With Others is a delightful story and we learn more about our four sixty-something assassins, their aches, their pains, their trauma, and their loves. Oh and lots of assassinations. If you want a novel about women who kick ass - look no further.
