Thanks and Turkey

While the origination of Thanksgiving is weird to me (why are we still thanking colonizers?), I appreciate the effort made to show gratitude. Sometimes, practicing gratitude is a platitude (hey, that rhymes!) in an attempt to tamp down the negativity in our lives. Thanksgiving is one of the few times that gratitude is shared aloud and openly encouraged to bring people closer together.

It’s been quite a year, so thank you. Thanks for liking posts, commenting, sharing, and reading. Thank you for being a part of this community of book lovers. I am so excited to wrap up 2021 with you and see where the path leads in 2022.
