Story Synopsis: When an author is approached by an acquaintance with a request to review a floorplan on a house for sale, he’s struck by the odd layout. Consulting with a draughtsman-friend, the author explores the suspicious layout when an idea forms: what if the house was used for ritual murder?

From there, the tale unfolds rapidly as they find out more about the homes, their owners, and when a dead body appears, the real story comes out.

Why does this book beguile? My lovely hubby spent much of his career as an architect, and when he found this book, we both were intrigued. A quick read, but wildly entertaining as the characters jump into a possible murder scenario to unravel the mystery of the strange house. It’s so short, I wish I could share more, but it would spoil the book!
