In Charlotte’s attempt to steal the amulet, she encounters Alex O’Reilly, an Irish pirate (and friends with Cecelia and Ned from The Wisteria Society). Shenanigans and romance ensue as witches and pirates are sworn enemies.
Why does this book beguile? Much like its predecessor, The League of Gentlewoman Witches is a fun romance full of adventure and strong characters. It was a great book to lead into the new year and start with something fun, flirty, and fierce.
