Favorite Quote: People are awkward, they don’t always know what to do or say. Don’t hold it against them. You never know what’s in their hearts.

Story Synopsis: The Paris Library is a multiple-time period and multiple-point-of-view story: we have Odile in 1939 Paris and Lily in 1983 Montana. Odile lived in Paris and worked at The American Library at the start of the war and ended up in Lily’s hometown of Froid, Montana.

Thoughts & Feelings: I could not finish this book. I got 25% through and DNF’d it. The characters are flat, there’s no action, and it’s written in such a pretentious manner that I quit the book. I saw many people in the book community love it, but wow, this was a hard pass for me.
