Synopsis: If plastic has you worried, this book is for you. In this short book, Miller walks readers through a choose-your-own-adventure style challenge on some common plastic-based items we all have (and buy regularly). From fleece jackets to single-serve plastic baggies, there are alternatives available for most things to help reduce waste and vote with your dollars.
Why does this book beguile? I got this book through Cora Ball - a laundry ball that helps reduce clothing friction to, in turn, reduce microfiber and microplastic waste in our waterways and homes. It also helps collect hair and fuzz, and as someone with long hair and cats, that’s a must! When I reordered some items through Cora Ball (you can get replacement parts!), I saw this book and naturally bought it. It’s a good primer on why the choices we make have lasting effects on our health and our world.
